We breed for both, because we believe you shouldn’t have to choose.
What we’re building toward
We raise registered Black Angus with an eye on the long game. That means selecting for cattle that are structurally correct, easy to handle, and built to last; animals that do their job without a lot of fuss. Good feet and legs. Sound udders. Calm dispositions. Mothers that breed back and calve without help. These are the quiet traits that don’t always show up in a photo but make all the difference over a lifetime in the pasture.
When you’re building genetics meant to shape the next generation, the small things add up. We keep records, we watch how each line performs season after season, and we hold our replacements to the same standard we’d want any customer to expect. The goal is cattle that leave a herd better than they found it.
