Genetics play a big role in determining cattle temperament. At our farm, we carefully choose bulls and cows known for being calm and easy to work with. We don’t just rely on numbers from performance data; we also take the time to observe how the animals behave firsthand. Seeing their natural behavior helps us ensure we’re choosing the best genetics to create a calmer herd.
